Excavator Fuel Saving Tips

1. Excavator standing high
The excavator work platform is most effective when it is at the same height or slightly higher than the truck.

2. Stick digging range
When the bucket cylinder and connecting rod, the cover rod cylinder and the cover rod are both 90°, the driving force of the cylinder is the largest. When digging the ground, the angle of the bucket and ripper should be kept at around 30°. When the stick is the most labor-saving, when the stick is close to vertical, the stick has the maximum force and can carry more load. Do not pull the stick to the innermost part when digging the ground, because the digging force is the smallest when the stick is in the innermost.

3. Do not let the engine idle
The hydraulic pump is also working when the engine is idling, but instead of pumping the hydraulic oil to the cylinder, the hydraulic oil is pumped to the hydraulic tank, so the engine also consumes fuel, which leads to unnecessary waste, the engine is more harmful to the environment than when it is idling.

4. Avoid heavy load and pressure drop
When the excavated gravel excavator is overloaded, the excavator will depressurize. Do not let the excavator work in pressure drop mode. This not only costs oil, but it also costs more.

5. Reduce the excavator angle
The location of the excavator must be accurate. It should not be too close or too far from the dump truck. Excavators should minimize the angle of rotation and reduce the rotation time and angle of rotation.
